Chebacco Lake

Located in Essex County, Massachusetts

Chebacco Lake is a 213-acre lake located between Beverly and Essex, Massachusetts.

The Boston International Airport is situated 30 miles south, and the closest location for urgent care is Beverly Hospital, seven miles southwest.

Fishing and Outdoors

Chebacco Lake offers a boat launch, allowing opportunities to fish from shore or boat.

Anglers can cast a line out for largemouth bass, brown bullhead, yellow perch, chain pickerel, black crappie, white perch, and pumpkinseed. Ice fishing is popular on this lake, so make sure to grab an auger and bucket for the wintertime!

This lake also allows for different watercraft and sports like waterskiing, wakeboarding, inner tubing, and SUP (stand-up paddleboarding).

The House of Seven Gables is another popular stop, not only for its central role in the Nathaniel Hawthorne book but also as a piece of New England's history. Take a tour of this beautiful 1668 example of pre-colonial architecture!

The Peabody Essex Museum is the place to be for lovers of art! This museum houses modern art and ancient art dating back thousands of years!
